So I have been having this computer issue for almost a year now and I can't find a way to fix it. What happens is the windows 8 blue screen of death will appear and shortly after that it takes me to my BIOS and displays the message" Verifying DMI Pool Data...... Disk Boot Failure, insert system disk and press enter." Apparently, most people get this error when booting up. This error happens while I am using the computer whether gaming or on the web. I cannot predict when it will happen. It is completely random. This has been happening since I got the computer brand new. It actually happened for the first time the first day I was using it. I bought it pre-built. Here are my specs if they help at all:
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core 3.50 GHz
RAM: 8GB
System Type: 64-bit Operatign System, x64-based processor
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750

I have read that this error means that the hard drive isn't getting recognized but that doesn't explain why it happens during use and why none of the solutions have helped.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

it could be the cables, it coud be the power supply, it could be the harddrive, it could be the motherbd...

You really should have had this resolved while it was under warranty. It might get expensive fixing it now but begin with the cheapest. Try new data cable and a different power connector on the harddrive.

boot into BIOS, reset the BIOS to defaults or update the BIOS version and reboot.
The BIOS will rescan the hardware and assign the various hardware interrupt and DMA channels to for your hardware. It will then send the updated database to windows so windows plug and play can install correct drivers without having hardware conflicts.
