Hi,
I bought this ddr2 motherboard 5 years ago because this was my first pc and this year im looking to upgrade to a amd fx 8320 or 8350 which obviously needs a am3+ motherboard that has to be ddr3 and im trying to find out if my case is usb 2.0 headers or usb 3.0? can you fill me in on the details? because i really dont want to buy a new case. My ddr2 motherboard is Asus b5q-e motherboard and the one im looking to upgrade to is a ASRock 970 Extreme4 and it has usb 3.0 headers plz answer quck THANKS. If u have any questions just ask me 😀.

You didn't state what case you had but USB 3.0 ports on cases is only a recent occurance. So no. USB 3.0 should generally have a blue plastic piece in the port (to key the direction the cable is plugged in to it).

Do what I did. Get a USB 3.0 extension cable and plug it in the back of the MB. Run it up to your desk. Instant usb 3.0 connection. OR get a USB 3.0 hub.

Your question was "...and im trying to find out if my case is usb 2.0 headers or usb 3.0? "

If you are wondering about a motherboard, that's totally different. Look at the manual or specs list for that motherboard. Or google it like I did.
