do all msi b350 mobos support raven ridge out of box now

Solution

Motherboards with BIOS to boot Raven Ridge out of the box will have a sticker on the front saying 'Ryzen 2000 Ready'. But since there can still be older motherboards in the supply pipe you really need to be able to put your hands on the unopened box and verify it's there.

When buying on-line, you really have to assume it's not if nothing states it explicitly on the webpage or listing and proceed accordingly. Makes it very difficult when large e-tailers won't help by checking it for you, which some won't.

Yeah thanks, hoping that its been out long enough now for even the oldest mobos to be updated :)

Especially searching out deals on-line, that's a bit of a gamble. A good one if you've ready access to any AM4 processors (even a friend who'd agree to taking his out and loaning it to you for the update) is no big deal.

But this was a supposed to be a no-hassle deal, I thought.
