Do graphics repairable if the warranty is expired

My graphics card got faulty and give the to a computer technician.The technicial told me the chances of gpu reapirbility is less so i have to depend on my luck.

Graphics Cards usually just die after their warranty passes. But no one can be exact how much time a GPU can run.

Any electronic device can be repaired once it breaks down, irregardless of warranty. The problem that occurs is that the repairs become much, much more expensive (cost prohibitive in fact) than simply buying a brand new device. In other words, you save more money by buying a new device rather than repairing the old device.
