Do I connect my bluetooth sound bar so my tv will be bluetooth

I have a blue tooth sound bar and a vizio non blue tooth and would like to run alexa thru the TV so I can hear the tv thru alexa

Your post is a bit confusing, Alexa is a software AI assistant, it's not a speaker. What are you trying to send the TV audio to? Your soundbar? Some Amazon Echo speaker? What TV model and what model speakers do you have?

I am trying to connect alexa to my vizio e600i tv so I can hear the program that I am watching outside..I have done it at a friends house but her tv has blue tooth...my sound bar is also a vizio bluetooth 5.1

Alexa is not a speaker, it's a software device built into something. Are you talking about connecting an Amazon DOT or Echo to the TV? If you have a speaker out on your TV, either optical or like a headphone jack, you can buy an adapter to get a bluetooth transmitter on the TV to connect to the bluetooth speaker.
