I have: Linksys E1200 (it should be very simple for the price I paid)

I want: TP-Link Archer C9

This is my speedtest: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5493771601

I only use my PC for gaming and downloading media, however I can't use wired connection because of my house design.

The question is, will this new router make any difference for me? The one I use feels quite simple/old but it's ok. However I'm up to getting a new one even if it's a small improvement in my daily use.

Thanks guys. If you need any other information please ask.

Just make sure you have a wireless AC adapter on your computer to take full advantage of you new router. Moving to wireless ac should yield a pretty nice improvement especially with beam forming.

ah, thats good to know, I guess If I get one of these for 10 bucks to go with the router is fine right?

However, I know it's kinda obvious that data transfer will be faster but, does it improve internet speed? I mean, I know the internet speed is the same, but upgrading to AC will improve the downloading speed or latency in-games or quality in browsing overall?

I would recommend checking out reviews for what ever adapter you are interested in. I know some wireless ac adapters have issues with windows 10 for some reason, so make sure what ever you decide on has good reviews for your OS.

Upgrading to wireless ac should give you better download speed at increasingly longer distances from your router compared to what you currently have. It won't however give you better latency, at least it usually doesn't. That is inherent with wireless, and the number one frustrating thing with multiplayer gaming. General browsing and other tasks aren't nearly as sensitive to latency though.

Good advice from burdenbound, but for gaming you should consider an AV1200 powerline adapter set.

The latency is very low and my TP-Link TL-PA8010 set gets close to 300Mbps with sub-milisecond latency at my house (slightly better than reviews like THIS one, which is a very reliable site for all things wireless and powerline. I've installed many sets of these and never had a disappointed client. (the 8010 and 8030 are the same except for the power connector pass through, but the 8010 on sale is around $50 a pair).
