[SOLVED] Do I have 2 MAC addresses if I have 2 onboard network adapters in one mobo?

Hi!

X99 deluxe mobo has 2 network adapters

I tried to change cable from one adapter to another, I have an internet in both, but small utility gives same MAC like it was with cable plugged in first adapter
what is going on ? where is my second MAC ?

No unless you set them as seperate devices they will basically run as as bridged wifi cards

Does that mean that it has one controller but 2 cable plugs ?
No way I will have 2 MACs with X99 deluxe onboard, right ?

There has to be a way to have to MAC addresses. Typically the two addresses will only differ on the last digit. They might be "B0" for one and "B1" for the other for example. Looking at the specs there are two discrete controllers -- https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/X99DELUXE/specifications/
There may be some way to clone the MAC between the two, but there has to be a way to separate them.

Well , thank you everyone for help.
It looks like 2 controlers on one mobo has different MACs but very close to each other
In my case it differs in 4 last digits , not 2.

But can you say by 2 MAC addresses that those are from same mobo ?
