[SOLVED] Do I have a virus? Can't do anything.

I don't know if I have a virus. My browser tabs crash every so often, I cannot update my graphics card driver, I cannot install Apps such as Steam, Discord etc. And I get blue screens about the kernel and I/O stuff. Please help.

I can't right now as I cannot predict when it comes but it comes up with different errors each time which include:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Kernel Errors.

If you can, grab CCleaner and Malwarebytes and run those to flush out any other junk.
Also could try a live linux CD, if that dosent crash etc, then at least you know its a software related issue and not hardware.

Could you provide some more details? Like what version of Windows are you running (also revision number if possible)? What's your full system specs including motherboard and BIOS revision? Can you run the operating system in safe mode?

If you mainboard has 2 RAM modules, you could remove power from rrear of PSU, remove one RAM stick, and try operation with only one installed, and, if no improvement in stability, try the other RAM stick...

(Or, you could try an overnight run with a bootable memory tester such as Memtest86, etc...)

Naturally, a failing drive can also induce corruption that can cause crashes, blue screens, but, such a system would run a bootable Live CD image from USB just fine (Linux Mint, Hiren's Boot CD, etc)
