Been awhile since I built a new machine.. Let me know how this looks. newegg prices... Is this too much or even a reliable power supply? I wanted modular but not necessary i suppose. I would appreciate any other suggestions as well on combo's or discount codes. Thanks

if, BIG if.. i throw another 4870 at it in a year or two will this be enough power? My budget is stretched at this point. it's too bad i need the lcd and operating system or i'd trade it for a q9550 and a better psu. i'm thinking in a year or two i'll upgrade to a quad after the 3ghz come down in price.

a big NO ! no way, no how would i use a Raidmax power supply to run even 1 4870, let alone 2. Sorry, you'll have to spend more to get a quality power supply, there's just no way around it.

for a Corsair 650w for $73 with free shipping at buy.com which would be pushing it for 2 4870s, but still far better then a Raidmax of any power
