Do I have the correct monitor???

Hey guys

I built a PC about a week ago and it is tuning with a ryzen 1600x and my graphics card is a nvidia gtx 1080. Whit the PC I bought a aoc agon which has “addaptive sync” however I read that this “addaptive sync” is also referred amd freesync which is ment for amd graphics cards and I have an nvidia graphics card so should I swap my monitor for a new g sync one???

which monitor did you buy ?

look at the specs , if it says Gsync then it will work wth your 1080 , if not then , it is freesync.

If you don't have an AMD graphics card then it will just be like a normal monitor.
