[SOLVED] Do I have to delete drivers when swapping from a gtx1050ti to a gtx750ti ?

Long story short when I tried to boot up my PC it just gives me a black screen.So I wanted to test my gtx 750ti on my friend's pc that has a gtx1050ti to make sure my gpu wasn't the problem causing the black screen.

Apparently not. If you update your drivers to the most recent driver both your 1050TI and 750TI support, which is 511.65, you should be good to go. Don't take my word for it, there's no one that can 100% guarantee this will work.

If the latest drivers support both the 750Ti and the 1050Ti then it shouldn't be an issue. If there does happen to be an issue, just reinstall the drivers (no need to remove them first).

I don't think drivers would have anything to do with you at least getting a bios screen.

As far as running the OS that's a different issue.
