Hello everyone.I ordered intel i5 4460 and MSI B85-G41 motherboard ,and I just wanted to make sure that I won't have to update my BIOS because I've never done it before.I have also read on cpu-upgrade that this motherboard supports the cpu,but I need to be certain. Thanks in advance :)

Solution
The required BIOS version to use that CPU is 7850v25, so you probably need to update it since the mobo will probably come with an older version.
To update your BIOS you need a compatible CPU, you won't be able to update using your own.

That CPU has been on the market since February 2014. If you are buying a new motherboard, it will already support it. If you are buying a used motherboard, find out what BIOS version it has. But almost all motherboard companies will support any CPU that has been on the market for at least 2 months.
