I'm planning on purchasing this motherboard for my first ever personally built computer, and I was wondering if I'd require a "Display" cable or DVI cable in order to boot it the first time.

While gathering information going into the parts about my build parts and booting, I stumbled on something concerning motherboards and HDMI cables. Specifically information stating something along the lines of needing "HDMI Drivers" and, I'm not sure if this is the same place I read this, that one would have to boot using DVI or VGA.

I only have HDMI and VGA cables, but the graphics card I intend to purchase only has an HDMI port, as well as DVI-D and Display Port. (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/x7s8TW/msi-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-4gb-video-card-gtx-1050-ti-4gt-oc)

My choices as far as I can think, If I have to compromise and get the compatible display options, are to either purchase a monitor that comes with corresponding ports and cables, which I plan to do after collecting all of my parts later anyway, or simply purchase a cable or an adapter.

Preferably, If I don't have to do either, I can afford to wait before purchasing a new monitor, as I already have one: A Tablet monitor: Ugee UG-2150 Pen Display Monitor.

Can Anyone give me some clarity about this?

You should be fine with either video output you use. There's no drivers needed until once in Win. And then only to access the special features of modern cards.
