HI All.

I am trying to get build a pc, the below specs is the one I would like

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H170-GAMING 3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Founders Edition Video Card
Alternative GPU : RX 480
Case: Corsair Vengeance C70 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair CXM 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Would I need a gpu cooler like the CoolerMaster Nepton 280L Closed Loop CPU Cooler.

And would the rx 480 be compatible?

Would the above build make a lot of noise? As would like something super quite.

The RX 480 would be compatible, the 1070 would be faster. And the only reason to ever buy a cooler like that is if you plan to Overclock that GPU to the moon.

For what you would pay for that PSU you're better off with the EVGA 750 G2 but TBH its overkill a 550G2 would do the job, both are better quality and ultra quiet.

If you want quiet Fractal design makes the quietest cases, and Noctua makes quiet aircoolers. I built my wife a PC with the same i7-6700 processor a Noctua NH-U12S and a Fractal design Define Mini case and you cannot hear it at all. Only the GPU under heavy load makes a little noise.

Thanks Rogue Leader.

Will adjust it slightly. But only got choice from coolmaster and corsair...as I am dealing with a supplier in South Africa.
1x 120mm FAN CoolerMaster Hyper 612 V.2 Air Cooler ( am looking at that, seems avg price though )
For the power
550 WATT Corsair VS Series VS550 550W Power Supply
Chassis:
Corsair Carbide 330R Titanium Edition ATX Ultra Silent Desktop Chassis ( or is that over kill? ) ( again only corsair and coolmaster ).

Thanks again.

The prior Corsair PSU you selected is better quality than the VS, if you can get the CXM 550 that should be fine.

That fan will be a little louder than I suggested but would work. The Corsair case is not overkill if you want it to be really quiet, that one should be dead quiet.

I found this one...600 WATT Corsair CXM Series CXM600 600W Power Supply

Thanks again for your help.

Well mostly for gaming, Just trying to see the difference between i5 and i7
The other alternative I suppose is the Intel Core i5 6600 - 3.30GHz Quad Core, Socket 1151, 6MB L3, DMI Bus, 14nm, x64, Intel VT, Intel HD Graphics 530 @ 350MHz

But not to sure what differences are really. Lol.

Gaming wise it will perform identically to the i7 6700. The i7 is a little faster core wise, but in terms of game performance it will be only 1 or 2 fps, and you will never notice it.
