Depends on, what you use your pc for.
In regular desktop mode, you won't notice difference between 60Hz and high refresh screen.
If you play FPS games, then yes - high refresh screen is beneficial.
Also high refresh screen may (or may not) support Nvidia 3dVision - for stereoscopic content viewing with specialized glasses. But that one is less useful, it's more for fun.
