Do I need a motherboard standoff?

When building my computer I didn't screw in a motherboard standoff because it wasn't fitting and It looked like the case already had one, Do I need one or does my computer already have it preinstalled?

It's possible the case already had the standoffs in place. I would recommend having all your standoffs placed and screwed in, not only does it help to support the motherboard it grounds it as well.

Is what wont fit, But I did screw all 8-9 mounting screws into the MOBO and case.

Screwing the motherboard directly to the case is not a good idea. I could short out and destroy you MB.

This is 100% accurate, my first build, I blew out the motherboard this way.

Says theres 1 standoff that Isn't preinstalled, I cant find this.
