[SOLVED] Do I need a new motgerboard?

I accidentally broke the PCIe connector and there there a bunch of pins together( I think some were touching). When I turned my PC on, it turned on for one second then immediately shut down. I tried again and it won’t turn on anymore. What parts are broken and need to be replaced?

Carefully break off all the exposed pins from broken slot. Probably need tweezers to do it properly.
If motherboard still doesn't start after that, then replace.

That slot probably is not connected to cpu directly (but via chipset instead).
CPU should be fine. Motherboard might be dead though.

It's very hard to break a cpu (thermal protection and other stuff)
