Question Do I need a new power supply?

My PC won’t turn on with every thing plugged into it. Keyboard, mouse, monitors, headset and microphone. But if just the power supply is plugged in then it turns on and stays on if I plug everything back into it.

MSI B450 tomahawk
16gb ram 3600mhz
Gigabyte 2070 super
EVGA 750 gold fully modular
1TB SSD 2TB HDD
I’ve had the system maybe 2 years

Has this been a issue the whole time you had the PC or just recently, did you build the PC if so is the io sheild built onto the mobo or did you have to install the io to the case before putting the mobo in?

No just happened yesterday, yes I did build and the io was not built in. I installed it.

You may have a metal tab from the io in the ports causing a short on boot when their plugged in this is the most common problem with the type io you have and PC having the issue you have

So I did not see any metal tabs in any ports but I did end up replacing the Power supply and it seems to be working fine now. Thank you for the help.
