Hi, I am building a pc soon, gotta save up money, anyways I chose a i7 8700 non k and also a Master Cooler Hyper 212 Black edition cpu cooler, I am not Overclocking but I will be playing at high settings with a rtx 2060. Should I use the stock cooler that comes with the i7 8700 non k or Use the 212? I am new to the PCMR and it will be first build
Thanks

Hello,
Personally I would go with the Hyper 212 Evo, the intel stock cooler is designed to keep temps right below the 100°C margin, so the chip will run VERY hot, for the 30$ the 212 costs you will get a much better thermals and lifetime out of the cooler/chip if you throw the 30$ extra into a better cooler.

That'll work just fine. The Cryorig H7 is another inexpensive cooler that is slightly better than the old favorite, the 212 Evo..
