So,
I've seen other threads discussing my issue of needing an optical drive to install windows. The issue is that the answer said that it would mean having an alternate way of installing windows. I was curious, how does this version ( http://www.outletpc.com/xk2782-microsoft-windows-8-1-64-bit-operating-system-oem.html?utm_source=xk2782-microsoft-windows-8-1-64-bit-operating-system-oem&utm_medium=shopping%2Bengine&utm_campaign=pcpartpicker&utm_content=Microsoft%2B-%2BSoftware%20%2F%20OS%20%3E%20Microsoft%20Windows%208) include a differing way of installing? And if so, is it worth it to get an optical drive anyway? I won't be using my computer for movies or dvds so i'm torn.

Use this site to download an official windows program that can let you enter the product key from the box of your windows cd and also you can enter one that you receive when you buy from them online. Whit this you can decide if you what to install it to a cd or usb drive...
also if you wish do it from a usb you need to enter to the bios and change the boot order so when you turn on the pc it will load directly to the usb with no hassle.
