■ I have 4gb ram Intel i5 4210U processor with 1GB intel 4400hd graphics and 2GB Nvidia GT820M graphics and 1920X1080 resolution... I tried to play CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE the cutscenes of the game were good but the gameplay lagged... Adding 8gb more will work or not ??

Solution
Ram sitting at 3.7 or 3.8gb indicates that an extra 4gb couldn't hurt :)

As for lag - play at 720p on games that lag, it has less than half the pixel density of 1080p

You know that saying "no offence" does not make what you say less offensive right???

Sorry dude more ram won`t really make a big enough of a difference. The GT820 is not really meant for heavy gaming. It`s basically a re-branded 730 so no. Sorry bro...

I play FIFA 15 on high settings without any problem and WATCH DOGS on medium the lagging in advanced warfare was just little not that much thats why I thought is it the RAM which is needed ?? because my user available RAM is only 3.70Gb

Yours seems to be the most logical one, but you are right in your on way!
Kumar got his rights

As @wolfshadw said,
Your GPU is not that strong, unfortunately laptop GPU cant be replaced, so lower your in game settings(turn off Vsync)
Adding more RAM wont be that helpful

The other point being that selecting a "Best Answer" also marks the thread as "Solved" which would push others who may contribute away from the thread.

720p settings means I have to play on low with Vsync off.. am i right ???

No, if anything it means you can play with other settings turned up

If you can play at 1080p / medium without lag then you can probably play 720p / high too.

Vsync is not relevant to the display resolution.

I played lot of Games like CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 2, Meal Gear Rising revengence, Assassins Creeds black flag, SPLINTER CELL BLACKLIST, FAR CRY 3 and many others on my old system with Nvidia 9500GT, intel dual core processor 1.63ghz and 2gb ram so i guess running COD: AW with this specs on low settings wouldn't be the problem....

THANKS for each and everyone of u for ur answers :)
