Question Do I need ATX3 for a 6800XT GPU?

Are there any benefits or is it irrelevant in this case? CPU is i5 9400f. I would get a Corsair RM850X 2021 if ATX3 is not a big deal. If it is important, then I'd go with Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 850W ATX v3.0. Any thoughts on that?
Btw, I'm not planning on changing this GPU for a looong time, so I'm only interested if this GPU benefits from ATX.3 since I'm not planning any upgrades.

You don't, but an ATX 3.0 PSU does meet the newer specifications laid out about power spikes and the like. Nothing wrong with the RM850X though, and if you want PCIe 5.0 compatibility, you can pick up a Type 4 12VHPWR cable from Corsair or third parties in the future.

If the prices are similar, I would probably take the Thermaltake. Or push for the 2023 model of the RM850X.

There will be little/no benefit from the newer standard in the scenario you are describing (other than having the newer tech down the road).

It just sets you up for future upgrades. Next gen my understanding AMD will also be using the 12v high power connector like Nvidia is using.
