bottom is going to be for your powersupply most likely. you should have atleast 1 rear fan/top fan and one intake be it from the side or front installed.
grab some cooler master fans from amazon the fans are pretty decent and i believe they have a 4 pack
Yeah a couple fans would do,your CPU and GPU generates quite a chunk of heat, you wouldnt need em if youd pick some low TDP GPU like critics acclaimed GTX 750 Ti.

What case do you have? If it comes included with 2 fans you may not have to get any more. Monitor your temps after you overclock, though, and if they're too high, then you can buy more fans.
A nice fan is ~$10 so it won't break the bank either.
I'm not sure exactly the name of the case. It's Chieftec, and i'm keeping it from the old setup. My case doesn't have a fan, although I think there is a slot at the back at the bottom. Is that where I put it?

Ideally, you want two.
1 in front blowing in, 1 on the back blowing out.
