I have HP Folio 9470M with 750GB SSD.
I found that 400GB is used by Hibernation Partion.
Does hybernation partiton is required to hibernate or not,
or can i delete the hibernation partiton to gain more space?

Solution
It does not need it. the file hyberfile.sys which you no longer have, was stored in the root of c:\. I've never seen a Partitioned with that name - meybe it was a HP thing.
Go to c:\windows\system32 and right click on the file cmd.exe. Select RunAs Administator then at the prompt in the black form that shows up, type
powercfg hibernate off
then hit the Enter key.

That may not make a difference to the Partition but you would be able to rename it and use it for other purposes.

i followed the steps, hibernate is turned off. but still i cannot use the partition.
i can format the partition using the diskpat command,
but for hibernate does require the hibernation partition?
