Do I need these parts?

Hi all,

I have recently decided to build a new machine.

The parts I have gone for are:

i5-6660K
Corsair H100i V2
G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4-3000Mhz
ASUS GeForce DUAL-GTX1060-6G Graphics Card 6GB
EVGA SuperNOVA G3 550W 80+ GOLD Certified Fully-Modular PSU
2TB Toshiba DT01ACA200 3.5" HDD (won't be the main drive, haven't decided on SSD and main HDD yet)
NZXT S340 ATX Mid Tower
ASUS Z170-A ATX LGA1151

So - my question is - before I buy the processor and graphics card, is it worth upgrading them perhaps for a small extra fee? Or is that OK? It will be mostly for programming & pen-testing.

Do I need to buy a sound card, or is the Z170-A sound fine?

I will only be using wireless - What adapter should I get for this?

1| What are you working off of right now?
2| By a small fee I assume you're talking about adding more to the previous amount and going for something like Kabylake or in fact an i7 Skylake?
3| Your parts list checks out fine but without stating the cost of your investment it's hard to say if you're winning or loosing on this deal.
4| You can make do with the onboard soundcard.
5| You can pick up a wireless USB dongle to connect to your wireless router.

A bad PC. A FX6300, some old XFX card and 8GB 1333mhz DDR3.

This build adds up to about £950~ish.
