Do i need to get a even more powerful power supply

i went on this https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator tried top put in what i had..and the result came back with 378 W..it's funny because some guy on here said the PSU i had was perfect for the GPU lol.

if your not to fermiller with the the HP 8200 it has the Hewlett-Packard Model 1495 would this MOBO handle a 500W PSU and can you even get one for this PC case it needs to be on a hing that lifts up and down.

Your motherboard shouldn’t have a problem with that amount of power as the only extra power consuming device inside the computer is the gpu which has a connector for its own power

it a low profile 1050ti i guess it still need power for it more than it's getting..here's me thinking there's a problem with my games that i'm playing and recording like Mad max and Skyrim special edition when all along it the PSU not powerful enough to push the CPU and GPU all the way. God Dam it.

Yes, he does.
It's non-standard psu and non-standard board.

The board is fine.

But pc enclosure and that completely mysterious psu - that is not fine.
It may not be any better than your current psu. May be even worse.
PSUs that go together with any enclosure usually are barely usable (or downright total crap) and need to be replaced anyway.

Found specs of that included PSU. It has 16A on 12V rail. So it is essentially 200W PSU - worse than your current 240W PSU.

480W PSU should have 40A on 12V rail ( 12 x 40 = 480 ).

For example Seasonic PSU S12II-520 has 2x 12v rails - 20A each. 12 x (20 +20) = 480W

Since the PSU is non standard do you know where he can get a wiring harness to convert the pins etc to work with his PC? It's not just a non-standard size its a non-standard pin layout on the 24 pin connector. This is what blackbird was trying to say.

PS: I deselected the best answer as it is not workable. I am not selecting an answer I am leaving it to the OP to choose.
