Do I need to have a 2GHz CPU or a 2.4GHz CPU for this game

So this is what the game says:
CPU: 2 GHz Dual Core (Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz)
It says 2GHz in the beginning but after it says 2.4 can anyone tell me what that means please

What game? and what processor do you have?

i would assume it means in the 2 GHz range, then it goes on to show you examples of what is recommended.

The game is need for speed most wanted 2012 and my processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E4400

your cpu will be just enough to run at lower settings would be my guess. as long as you have some kind of GPu (8800gt or something) you should be able to play

Games usually list a bare minimum requirement to run the game, and then suggest the lowest "recommended for the best gaming experience". They sometimes also list different requirements based on the brand of Processor you have, as speed ratings for processors are not always equal by their names and ghz rating alone.
