Do i need to install flash? (html5 question)

Hi


I only use flash when it comes to playback, and now that youtube supports html5 on firefox can i uninstall my flash plugin?

I don't play any flash based games on my laptop or visit any other flash based websites so im wondering what the use is in having this on my laptop?

I don't have flash installed and so far so good for me . but that's just me

I would just continue as you are until you hit a site that requires flash and then install the latest version.

you can I don't care if it needs flash. I just keep going no big deal and not that important to me .. you have to decide on what you feel is best for you its not like you cant install it and then remove it

I haven't had flash installed for a year or more now.. Flash is dead!

I had it and it was allways something like you don't have the latest or bla bla bla and I just updated it and all so one day I seen that crap come up and said '' I know just how to fix this '' and removed it and lived happily ever after

I'm having an issue with html5, when i go to youtube.com/html5 and select it as my default playback it keeps resetting itself everytime i restart firefox.

Does anyone here know how to make this setting stick?

youtube is something I rarely ever use and if I do I just click on the vid and it works ???? [ie11]

Whether you need fllash is determined how the website is designed. I go to different websites all the time so I can't say I don't use Flash. The website detemines if i need flash or not. I know that when Android stopped supporting flash I got more errors browsing the web on my phone and tab but recently I haven't noticed the problem. Maybe everyone is using HTML5 now.
