I just built a gaming computer and I am going to wait to put the graphics card in for a bit, but my friend fit it in to the case but it's not plugged in so if I want to play a game do I need to take it out or can it stay in place not plugged in.

I assume as long as the bios is switched over to the onboard graphics it cant hurt anything ??? I would just remove it and put it back in its box properly like it was shipped [foam covers and static bag ] just to be safe then sorry if something silly were to happen some how ??

As long as you have a working iGPU with the CPU in your case, you could game (probably expect considerably lower performance though). On another note, any special reason why you'd want to wait on putting a dedicated GPU in?

I was just waiting to get another one of those wire things that connect from your power supply so I could connect it to the graphics card
