My current specs are:
  • AMD R5 2600
  • RTX 3070TI
  • MB: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F
  • RAM: 2X HYPERX PREDATOR 8GB DDR4 2933MHZ
  • 1HD(1TB)+1 SATASSD(250GB)+ 1 M.2 (1TB)
  • PSU: COUGAR GX-S550 550W 80+GOLD
I upgraded recently from a 2060 to 3070TI however the recommended PSU watts for the GPU are 750W. It runs fine now (nothing "obviously" going wrong) but I also have a Corsair CX750W(the dreaded green labeled one) that I used for a bit on an older computer.
So my question is : should i swap the PSUs? The answer would be obvious but I heard a lot of bad stuff about the Corsair one (and I'm a bit new to the pc building thing).
(Note: Not really feeling like buying a new one unless its super necessary)

well it is always better to buy a new psu for better gpu, 3000 series are prone to power tripping so better grab a Corsair RM/RMX if you want to spend on a psu. Use 2 separate PCIe Cable instead of 1 cable daisy chained to avoid the trip.
