[SOLVED] Do I need to use two 8pin eatx12v on my Asus Maximus XI Extreme?

Hi,

I'm planning to connect my Corsair CV650 PSU with my new MOB.
But the problem is, the PSU has only one 8pin eatx12v connector.

Now I have two questions:

1. Is it okay if I connect only one 8pin eatx12v to my ROG MAXIMUS XI EXTREME? Or I need to connect both 8pin eatx12v port?

2. Is Corsair CV 650 watt enough for my rig? (i9-9900KF, Maximus xi Extreme, RTX 2070S, 500GB m2, 2TB HDD, 16GB RAM).

I REALLY need your help here. Looking forward to seeing your reply.

Thanks,
Bichitra

Yes, the board should run with only one hooked up.

650W should be enough for that system if you don't overclock it. But then you've overspent hugely on a lot of the components.

I guess the question is why the extreme motherboard if you aren't going to use it to its potential?
