Do I need Windows 10 Home or Pro

Hello,

I am building a new computer mainly for gaming but I will also like to use it for work. Currently, I have windows 7 Home Premium with user accounts for me, my wife and for games. The reason why I set different accounts is mainly to keep things tidy and for me to use software with company network license. I have installed a few applications that need VPN connection. To avoid setting everything up I created my account to automatically setup VPN and map network drives to those I use when I work in company.

I cannot figure out if I still need Windows 10 Pro for that or can I set up everything using just Windows 10 Home. Windows 10 Pro 2 times as much expensive as Home. It gives this extra services which "don't talk to me":

Domain Join
Group Policy Management
Bitlocker
Enterprise Mode Internet Explorer (EMIE)
Assigned Access 8.1
Remote Desktop
Client Hyper-V
Direct Access.

For instance, I don't need BitLocker, EMIE, Remote Desktop, etc. I am not sure about Group Policy Management.

Thanks

I believe the defer is 90 days max.

EDIT: Apparently not "90 days", but rather some unspecified number of months:

I find the biggest benefits besides the mentioned are that in pro, you can defer upgrades. (for undefined time)
which means that until last saturday, windows didn't even suggest about upgrading from 1511 to 1607 build.
so if you don't want bleeding edge, possible buggy upgrades and added functionality, professional might be a good choice.

Just one more question. I think I'll decide on Home. Pro is too expensive. It's very unlikely I'll use any components of pro :)

If I buy Windows online with option "Download", what will I get. a setup.exe, or ISO image? Or it is better to simply go and buy DVD from a dealer? What do you think. Sorry I usually had windows after I bough machines. This time I am building a computer. Thanks.

It should be the ISO.
From that, you can create your own DVD or USB.

Or, from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

What you are paying for is the license key, not the install media.
Use that above link and create your own DVD or USB.
Install with that, and use the license key they send you.
