Do I use an APU(A10-7850k) or a CPU(Athlon X4 860K) paired with a R7 250? (tight budget build)

I've been trying to come up with a tight budget pc and I've ran into a couple of questions. At first, I was thinking the AMD A10-7850K would be a good choice, seeing that I would be saving up on the graphics card (the money would go into good ram since it is an important component in an APU system and a keyboard and mouse) but then I found some budget builds on Youtube and saw that a lot of them used the AMD Athlon X4 860K and I was thinking of pairing it up with a Radeon R7 250 because of the budget. I read that the equivalent of the iGPU in a A10-7850K was a R7 250 so the difference wouldn't be that big? I wasn't thinking on overclocking since I'm not that inclined to. I've compared benchmarks and I think it wouldn't that different and the APU would end up being cheaper, about 40 euros so about 45-50 dollars!

Thanks in advance for answering!

Hm.... tough one. If you're really budget conscious then the APUs are fairly good for light gaming, just don't expect any CPU intensive games to run smoothly on them. The difference between the two set ups is minimal from various benchmarks.

How tight is your budget?
Builders here can recommend a build if they know. I anticipate i3 build recommendations. I would also throw in http://www.gamersnexus.net/pc-builds/2493-diy-gaming-pc-build-for-under-500 for your consideration.

I think it depends how long you intend to use the system for. Truth is, with an FM2+ build there is no viable CPU upgrade in the future. A powerful graphics card would be held back by the CPU. A cheap i3 build will allow an upgrade path.

I would wait and save up more money for a better GPU to pair with the 860k, i would not consider the 7850k iGPU or the r7 250 to give an enjoyable gaming experience. I would save up for atleast an r7 260x or equivalent.
