my computer is too old too suck,i don't have too much money to build a new computer,but i want try to overclock,do msi h97 pc mate support g3258 overclock now?🙁

Yes, but make sure you don't download a BIOS update with anything like CPU Microcode

You can save more money by going B85 but I still suggest getting the cheapest Z97 MB

Yes, if you dl the new bios, h97 pc mate can do the overclocking with G3258
you can play some oc stuff with this cpu and pc mate
but if you want do some hard-overclocking things, i prefer go with either i5 4670k or i7 4770k
also with z97 motherboards, may work better with them
