that's probably how it would play out, but i wouldn't really blame him. AMD was already a sinking ship when he joined. everyone who has a clue about CPUs knows AMD can't compete with intel in the chip market. unless they throw a hail mary and invest the last of their money into a new chip and succeed, there's no point in AMD bleeding money in a losing race.

This guy(Rory Read) is a freak'n idiot! If anyone wants to save AMD, they need to oust this CEO and fast!
so you're saying what, exactly? that you would sell AMD? they only have 3 options: a) sink into bankruptcy, b) get bought out, or c) pull up their bootstraps, cut their losses and turn things around. you have to give rory read props for having the balls to try to turn things around. when you say you want a new CEO...what would you want him to do differently? wave a magic wand and make a new CPU that rivals the i7? you have to be realistic. AMD can't compete with intel CPUs. that horse is dead, there's no point in beating it anymore.
