If I use a proxy can my router history be tracked?

Im 18 and make music which I post from laptop that no one has access to. Kept my soundcloud profile well hidden but somehow my parents knew and threatened to kick me out.

I only connect on wifi, read they might check log cache , how can I hide it if proxies don't work?

THANK YOU:??:

They can just call your ISP and find out. The ISP will probably see you are on a proxy but won't be able to see the sites you visit while on that proxy

There is no other way around it unless you go somewhere like school or a library and upload your music to the site from there

extremely conservative parents, even if I'd pay for id get kicked out

The proxy must be encrypted or you can still see the urls in the data stream. A proxy by default is only used to change your ip or make it appear you are coming from a different location. Generally a proxy is not meant to secure the data stream between you and the proxy site this is more a VPN function but there are proxy services that encrypt if you look for them.

Still there will be a logs of you accessing the proxy site so they could just assume you are using he proxy for even worse things.
