Do PSU's and CPU's need drivers?

No on PSUs and yes on CPUs. But Windows takes care of that. Your MB chipset will need a driver, tho. But even that, Windows will load a default one for.

Power supplies, no. Processors...not really, but if you want everything and anything installed on your computer you can install chipset drivers. I never install chipset drivers unless I see system issues.
