[SOLVED] Do the pins on the back of the motherboard matter?

Totally random question, definitely didn’t bend a bunch of them trying to install my motherboard

If they are pins sticking through the board from components...they are generally short enough where if they get bent it doesn't matter.
I'd have to see a pic to say for sure.

Lead protrusion should be trimmed short by the mfr.

It's best to not bend them since it could crack the solder solder joint slightly. It may not show up until months later when you get intermittent issues...like strange, unexplainable lock-ups or crashes.
