Question Do these intended upgrades look decent ?

That new system, with your proposed upgrades, would be a good entry-level gaming PC that could keep up with the latest games. RAM compatibility may be an issue if you mix and match RAM modules. Using a kit is the best way to avoid RAM incompatibility.

Seems like you could build a system at a lower cost than buying that one and replacing + upgrading components. Also, consider the price/performance of upgrading your i5-6500 to an i7-6700K. I'm not sure the used market cost in your area.
