I am only asking because when I helped my cousin build his computer, there was something wrong with the compatibility of the sticks of RAM and the motherboard and the computer wouldn't turn on if both sticks were in the motherboard but would work fine with one stick in.
I have absolutely no clue what causes that but would like to avoid it at all costs. Also I the RAM i have picked out are DDR3 1600, but I've seen some RAM out there with much higher speed, is it worth paying extra for higher speed on the RAM?
