Do you need to change the liquid in an all in one (h60) ?

Hey there. I'm looking to buy and build an awesome little PC for and with my brother, using the g4400 and, for shits and giggles mostly, i want to overclock it to about 4.0 Ghz while keeping everything nice and cool. However, the only maintenance i want to ever perform on this computer is a simple dust off every now and then. If i bought the h60 for his cooler (he knows nothing about computers) would the occasional (figurative) oil change be mandatory? If the liquid has to be swapped out on occasion, i'll just grab a 212 evo or something.

Also, on a side note, do you think stepping down from an i3 6100 to a g4400 is worth it for an all SSD build, as opposed to an i3 build using standard hard drives? my brother gets quite frustrated when his current little system takes a while to load (which is always. q6600 + gtx 650 + 500gb, 16mb cache, 5400 rpm drive)

No it`s a sealed unit designed to run as long as the pump of the cooling loop lasts.

On custom loops the reason why from time to time you change out the water and any colored die plus algae
Additive, is because often clear pipes are used around the loop, and a water reservoir is also used where evaporation can happen.

Aio water kits don`t have a reservoir it is simply a closed loop that is filled and sealed with black rubber or plastic tubing so not to promote algae.

If the water cooler is sounding loud while in operation or sounds like it is bubbling the it can be a sign that the pump of the Aio water cooler is on it`s way out after four to five years of use.

If you were tempted to refill it, then when sealed, after filling Test...

If you were tempted to refill it, then when sealed, after filling Test it out side of the system it is used in for at least a week.

Trying to open it will no doubt break one of the seals of the unit, and why considering the price of them even a H60 model by corsair I would just buy a whole new Aio TBH.

If you mount the fan in puller configuration to suck air through the radiator, any dust will collect on the other side of the radiator where an occasional vacuuming will clear it. If the radiator's mounted so this faces the outside, it will not even be necessary to open the case to clean it or deal with any fiddly dust filters.

The SSD configuration will feel much faster than the addition of Hyperthreading in the i3, but note some new games will refuse to launch nowadays without the two additional virtual threads.

Overclocking a non-K Skylake requires an older BIOS and has some strange limitations--no IGP, no speedstep, no working temperature sensor or AVX, and in some boards even no voltage controls.
