[SOLVED] Do you need to download LAN drivers before you can you ethernet?

I'm almost about to buy the PC parts to build my PC and I don't want to buy a WiFi dongle

I certainly would download the latest drivers to a usb stick before the build, just in case.

I build computers on a daily basis. Never had to install LAN drivers before. Just plug in the UTP and you're good to go. It might be usefull to download them since they're probably newer versions.
