As long as your card stays below 90-95C you should be safe, I'd personally recommend keeping temps under 80C. So no, I don't think you need to set up a custom fan curve with those temps.

Those radeons always ran hot but your temperatures are actually very good for such a card, particularly the VRMs, so no, you don't need to set a custom fan curve.
That said Afterburner is a freebie and a very handy system monitor allowing you to keep a close eye on a number of readings during gameplay.
