Do you suggest custom water cooling "kits"?

I want to get a custom water loop that I can upgrade later, I did a ton of research on custom water loops so I know what to buy for them, I almost did until I realized I was about to spend $800 on water cooling, can anyone vouch for the ek-kit x360?
thanks!

While i'm unsure on Pump replacements, what I do know is that on the official Predator manual provided by EK, it states that,
"The EK-XLC Predator 240 is capable to cope with expansion of the system with one additional waterblock, radiator and reservoir (optional)." For the expansion you...
If you're new to custom water cooling loops, I would suggest purchasing the EK Predator kits. It is an All-In-One liquid cooling loop, much like the Corsair H100i or similar coolers, but with the added benefit of being fully expandable with other EK products. Essentially, you start off with a regular radiator/pump combo, but then can expand into other areas besides just the CPU. This truly is a great way to start off custom water cooling, without breaking the bank.

I purchased an EK-KIT L240 (R2.0) and after receiving it, I then went to EK's site and upgraded the resovoir tube size, tubing, added a GPU block and a second radiator plus of course matching compression fittings and some angles just in case. I'm glad I did because not only are the parts VERY well made from EKWB, but the kit gives you everything you need for at least the CPU at a decent price. Plus I bought mine off of Amazon from EKWB and was able to use prime to get it in two days. When you buy straight from ekwb's site you have to wait longer because they are in europe, and shipping isn't cheap.

Good luck man, in short, you cannot go wrong with EK.

Thanks for the response!
I saw those and I've been doing a ton of research on this computer I'm contemplating buying, can I replace the pump on the predator? I'm definitely going to be upgrading to a fully custom loop eventually, but until then I want something I can completely expand, just a start. The case I'm getting is very water cooling friendly (enthoo luxe) would you suggest a predator over a simple kit I can upgrade upon?
Thanks!

While i'm unsure on Pump replacements, what I do know is that on the official Predator manual provided by EK, it states that,
"The EK-XLC Predator 240 is capable to cope with expansion of the system with one additional waterblock, radiator and reservoir (optional)." For the expansion you will need (recommended):
- A additional waterblock/reservoir
- Tubing: EK-Tube ZMT Matte Black 15,9/9,5mm (EAn: 3830046999207)
- Fittings: EK-ACF Fitting 10/16mm (EAn: 3831109846452)
- Coolant: EK-Ekoolant EVO CLEAR (Premix 1l) (EAn: 3830046999689)
- EK-ATX Bridging Plug (EAn: 3831109867716)

"The EK-XLC Predator 360 (incl. QDC) is capable to cope with expansion of the system with additional 2 (two) waterblocks and 1 (one) radiator. There is no need to unmount the unit from the chassis unless you have some tube-routing constraints. Because of the no-spill quick disconnect connector couplings the expansion is very quick, easy and safe when using QDC-enabled water blocks.
For the expansion you will need:
- A new pre-fi lled waterblock or radiator
required tools (in case of need to refi ll the loop):
- 6mm Allen key (usually enclosed with the waterblock)
- ATX Bridging plug

So it seems that if you're looking for the most expansion options, the Predator 360 is your cooler.
