Do you think 399 for a r9 280x toxic is worth it?

or should i buy a 770 msi lightning at 330$ (mir)?

i would have purchased the 770 long ago, but i am hesitant due to the 2gb of vram

It is a lot of money for a 280x; get the MSI Twin Frozr Gaming 3G, it is cheaper and quieter. As for the 770 it depends on the game you are playing, but it costs around $50 more.

i think the prices have substantially changed on the gtx 770 and the r9 280x

for example you can find an r9 280x toxic for 399 but a gigabyte r9 280x will cost more than 419 (i believe this is bc litecoin miners are staying away from the toxic due to it's higher power output and are purchasing cards with less output)

but the gtx 770 is actually 344 not 330 my mistake..

with these new prices, what is the best option?

for games like PoE, SC2, BF4, LoL, AC3, WoW
