Question Do you trust refurbished components?

Building my first PC and was planning on purchasing a RTX 2060, whereas memory express has a RTX 2070 for nearly an identical price with the kicker being that it’s a refurbished GPU.

So I guess I have two questions:

Do you trust refurbished components?

And if you do, would buying a 2070 for a 2060 price be worth it with the “supers” coming out?

I base this on the reputation I perceive from the seller. For instance, I have purchased a few refurbished products over the years from retailers I have done business with and had no issues. I have purchased refurbs from "who knows" places on eBay (or the like) and got exactly what I paid for.

Depends on what it is, and who refurbished it.

Storage drives, no, never.

Other things, only if "refurb" by the actual manufacturer.
Otherwise you get "Refurbished by Bubba" (who simply blew the dust off some part he happened to come across)
