[SOLVED] Do you use one drive?

Hi, under windows defender it says that i should add one drive for protect my pc against ramsomware, but i dont want to update every new file i have to the cloud and slower down my internet. So what do you guys recommend? Do you have one drive in use?

its your choice, you don't have to use it.
i got 1tb upload space on Onedrive via a Subscription to Office so I have all my music on it. I have all my pictures, documents, movies, & music on it. Made installing win 10 onto this PC so much easier. I didn't have to move anything physically from old PC to this one.

If I make any files now they auto backed up to Onedrive.

OneDrive is just a cloud backup solution. It would allow for you to recover data backed up to OneDrive if say your hard drive dies etc.

Personally, I don't use OneDrive, but I do believe everyone should have a backup, so I backup my PC to my NAS.

One drive in use?......no.
Pick a backup method that works for you.

I don't use onedrive. I make regular full system backups with the free version of Macrium Reflect.
