[SOLVED] Does 267mhz make a difference?

I just bought my i5-6600 and the only downside is it can only run 2133mhz ram non overclocked but since i didn't unbox it yet i can switch it for an i5-7500 which is rated for max 2400mhz by intel and I have to pay an extra 50$.Is it worth it?Also my motherboard is an asus strix h270f which doesn't support overclocks so the intel ratings do actually matter.

Right. It will absolutely make a difference. The real question is whether or not you will actually notice the difference.

True don't see any difference, but i kind of feel the same more is more and afterall 7th is better than 6th so ill just go for it i guess
