Question does 2gb+4gb ram=dual channel memory

hello, i have i have a laptop with
intel i3 4005u cpu
hd 4400 gpu
4gb ram 4x1
the motherboard support 2 slots so if i add 2gb to the second slot with the some specifications
can it works on dual channel
