Hello!
I am planning to upgrade my CPU to FX8350
However, I found the list below tells that my mobo, which is Gigabyte GA-880GMA-USB3, seems not support FX8350.

Yet, I found another thread in this forum

Their answer is any AM3+ mobo will support FX8350.

I want to be sure that if my mobo really support FX8350.
I searched the internet but got no results.
As I live in HK, there is no Gigabyte hotline for HK customer.
That's why I am here to ask, thanks for the attention! 🙂

The CPU support list only tells u about the parts that were tested upon the release of the board ... it doesn't mean it won't support any similar or succesing models

Sometimes MOBOs get released before certain models of CPU
and they test the available models only .
As long as it's socket AM3+ it will support the 8350 and next (if there will be)

Yes, that CPU will work in that motherboard. I haven't found a AM3+ motherboard that doesn't support all AM3+ CPU's.

I build a LOT of AMD computers. I would recommend updating the BIOS after installing everything.

Good luck! :)
